This picture is an homage to Alicia’s iconic snap – I couldn’t resist recreating the pose, with my Atacomas in place of her 99 Zip Wedges. I wore these shoes in the torrential rain today – pleased to be elevated above the rising puddles of water, yet slightly terrified that I was going to slip. It’s a long way to fall.

whatever, 5″ wedges is the way to go in bad weather. enormous wedge boots are pretty much all i’ll wear if it’s raining or god forbid snowing — i’d rather risk slipping than walk around all day with damp socks!!
