You all know my predilection for black, but recently, I’ve begun to appreciate the appeal of the other end of the shade spectrum. There’s something fresh and quiet and clean about a head-to-toe white ensemble (although a couple of black accents can anchor the look).

Here, some of the style bloggers I most admire demonstrate interpretations of the trend – Ivania from Love Aesthetics, Iina from Pure Love, Eszter from Styleorectic and Ilanka from Fashion-Nerdic. There must be something in the water in Northern Europe, right? How else can you explain such a surfeit of style?

I don’t usually get caught up in trends – my aesthetic tends to be so narrow that they simply pass me by. But this one has stuck. I think it’s because it’s an inversion of my own tendencies - the same simplicity, the same minimalism as black, but turned upside down and inside out.

So will you see me don top-to-toe white on this blog? Well, watch this space…
