Everything that I love: matte black leather, silver studs, a classic shape. They come with a liberal dose of inspiration from Christian Louboutin, but that’s okay for now.

I bought them within moments of spotting them, justifying the purchase with the thought that I needed a new pair of basic flats. Something that I could wear with everything. Yeah, I know. Not really basic, but since I wear all black everything about 90 per cent of the time, they’re pretty much guaranteed to work with everything else in my wardrobe.
