It may not satisfy my sense of aesthetics as completely as wearing RGBSTEEL on my nails, but Rimmel London’s Grey Matter is pretty impressive. I think I’ll be wearing this shade a lot, especially come spring.

This is Chanel Maniac, from the Noirs Obscurs collection. Applied heavily, it’s a deep, blackened red with a hint of shimmer; as a stain, it’s a vampish wine.
It’s cold – so cold – and between my internship and my day job, I’ve been working seven day weeks. There’s nothing to do but cocoon myself in a multitude of layered black and try to take it one day at a time.
