As always, the question is: how can I wear leather in summer? The answer (or should I say, one of many answers): a leather bustier, which lends itself perfectly to being worn underneath a loose, distressed tank.
The ManiaMania cuff is a new addition to my wardrobe, which I got for a steal at the MCMPR sample sale.

Sydney is slouching towards spring. The weather will be warm at first, and then hot, and it’s hard to stay chic when you’re melting. I prefer cold weather and all its accoutrements: leather and layers and knits you could get lost inside. And yet, the heat is coming.
The spring/summer mantra then: leather (still, always), whisper-light silk, simple shapes, statement jewellery.

Happy early birthday to me. Finally, the Alexander Wang Rocco Baby Duffle bag has made it into my closet.
Long sold out in black on black, I chanced on at Di Nuova, a designer consignment store in Paddington. I don’t think it’s even been used.

I didn’t see the exhibition in New York, but having the coffee-table book for the Alexander McQueen retrospective is the next best thing.

I was very humbled to be asked to contribute to HP Australia’s coverage of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Sydney.
Joining an intimidating list of bloggers such as Shine By Three, Thrift+Thread, Harper and Harley and more, I was asked to photograph and review the Myer spring/summer collection launch.
