STAM: Electric and tripped out. Take it or leave it. Photography: Will Davidson. Fashion Editor: Stevie Dance. RUSSH, April/May, 2011.
My favourite shot from a much larger editorial (take a look at the rest here), in which Jessica Stam wears metal tees and creepers and studs and ripped denim, alongside the usual roster of high-end loveliness.
RUSSH is highly recommended reading.

Gauzy perfection. From Rodarte: States of Matter, showing at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.

This image has been my desktop background for some months now, so I see it almost every day, framed within the screen of my white MacBook. All white everything. Obsessed.

Tonight I went to the opening of Audrey Kawasaki’s solo show at Outré Gallery in Surry Hills. Seeing her work up close – the texture of the woodgrain, the delicacy of the brush strokes – was an absolute pleasure. So was meeting Audrey herself, who was sweet and interested and said she liked my tattoo.
I was also lucky enough to meet Lucinda, of Thrift and Thread. So love meeting bloggers whom I admire in real life.
