In Conversation with Niviaq Korneliussen
Niviaq Korneliussen is a young Greenlandic writer who became an unlikely international literary star for her debut novel, Crimson. Hailed as “a work of a strikingly modern sensibility” by The New Yorker, it tells the tale of four queer characters confronting their identities in the country’s remote capital, Nuuk.
I’m so excited to welcome Niviaq to the Sydney Writers’ Festival to discuss the novel, new queer literatures and finding a readership beyond her country’s shores.
